Stanley Lowe
After retiring in 2024 from a career in the printing and logistics industry, I have focused my time on youth development and education. A lifelong basketball enthusiast, I am passionate about using the game to teach discipline, leadership, and emotional growth. I enjoy working closely with young athletes, helping them build confidence and develop life skills that extend beyond the court. As a board member of the Veritas Education Foundation, I am committed to supporting programs that empower youth and strengthen the community.
Armando Tam
I am the Executive Director for AVANCE Sports, overseeing the organization's operations, and oversee market growth at the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP). Prior to my current roles, I was a real estate investor and owned and operated a real estate brokerage and a mortgage company. I was a minority shareholder in LatinCon, LLC and am a shareholder in AVANCE GLOBAL. As a food aficionado and author, I create content and virtual restaurants that showcase my passions for culture and cooking. I am a prolific business connector, best known for my tireless advocacy for Latinos in business, sports, and music.
Alfonso de la Nuez
I am the Co-Founder and ex-CEO of UserZoom, the UX Insights company that helps businesses gather and manage insights for exceptional digital experiences. Under my leadership, UserZoom grew from a bootstrapped firm in Spain into a $100m ARR global organization with Fortune 100 customers. The company raised $150m from Silicon Valley investors and was acquired by Thoma Bravo for $810m in 2022, merging with UserTesting in 2023. I now serve as Strategic Evangelist, advising and investing in tech startups and serving as a featured speaker at industry events. An avid basketball player and Motorsports fan, I hold a BA in International Business from San Jose State University, where I played Division I Varsity Basketball on an athletic scholarship.
Olivia Chavez
I bring over 12 years of experience in real estate, leadership, and education to the Veritas Basketball Board of Directors. I serve as a leader at Mission Real Estate and Director of its in-house real estate school, where I mentor the next generation of professionals. I also serve as a National Board Director for NAHREP, advancing homeownership and professional growth in our communities. As a first-generation college graduate from California State University, Northridge, I deeply value the transformative power of education. I am passionate about Veritas' mission to support student-athletes from diverse backgrounds and provide pathways to higher education and lasting success.
