The Veritas Education Fund is dedicated to transforming young lives through access to high-quality education and athletic opportunities. Our mission is to empower talented student-athletes—many from underserved backgrounds—by providing the academic and athletic resources they need to succeed in college and beyond.
Founded on Purpose
Founded by Coach George Zedan.
Veritas Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit built on a simple but radical belief: where a child is born should never determine how far they can go.
We provide full, need-based scholarships to gifted student-athletes from underserved communities across the United States, Latin America, Asia, and beyond. Every scholar receives what they need to truly thrive — safe housing, daily meals, Advanced Placement academics, and professional-level basketball training. We remove every barrier so they can focus on becoming their best.
Our program runs through Veritas Academy — a nationally recognized AP preparatory school and the only Nike EYBL Scholastic member in California. Together, we've built a complete pathway to collegiate recruitment, professional basketball, and a life of impact on and off the court.
Each student who walks through our doors arrives with rare talent, an unbreakable work ethic, and a story worth fighting for. When you invest in Veritas, you're not changing one life. You're changing generations.
